Terms of agreement

1. The Agreement provides 2 hours of residential property law advice per month through email or WhatsApp voice messages (“the Services”) for a six-month period.

2. The cost is R550.00 plus 15% VAT (R632.50) per month, payable in advance on the 1st day of each month.

3. Unused hours in a month cannot be carried over.

4. Additional work beyond the monthly hours is charged at a reduced rate of R2150 plus 15% VAT (R2472.50) per hour with your consent.

5. Services excluded: Matters unrelated to rental law, including drafting letters, documents, evictions, and rent collections - these have discounted rates available upon request.

6. RRC represents your interests and can be contacted for any concerns. To cancel the Services during the Agreement, please give at least 20 business days' written notice. The penalty for cancellation is one month's fee. If not cancelled at the end of the six-month period, the Agreement continues on a month-to-month basis and can be terminated by either party with one calendar months’ notice, without penalty.

7. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes or success in any matter. Our advice is based on the law and practices at the time it is given, which may change. We are not obligated to update advice unless agreed upon.

8. The Agreement is the entire agreement between the parties and can only be amended in writing and signed by both parties.

9. The Laws of the Republic of South Africa govern this Agreement.
